Birch trees harvested in Massachusets about 40 miles away.

Three Birch trees in the shop before processing. A series of sketches. Chair seat mock-up. The main tool used for production. Using hand tools due to the wood's irregular shape/nature. Binding the seat together using all thread. Test run.
